Ethan first picked up the violin at age six. He began lessons under the instruction of Thomas Schoen (Edmonton, AB). His desire to play old-time fiddle led him to Camp Calvin where he has had the opportunity to learn from Canada's best fiddle players.
Some of Ethan's awarded accomplishments include:
Grand North American Old-Time Fiddle Champion 2019 and 2024.
Canadian Grand Master Fiddle Champion 2019, 2022, and 2024.
